About the Item
This superb oil on canvas painting of a nude study is dated 1970 and signed lower left. We have not been able to decipher the artist's signature (please check the pictures for information). The artist is Italian, and his name is possible: Ero H. . . . ci.
Very vivid and fresh colors with post-cubist influence, the design of the woman's body in bright orange tone has light thickness contrasts with the thick textured background using a color block structure.
A handwritten signature is at the back, with the artist's name and dated 70.
The painting is newly installed in an elegant double frame structure, constructed with a bleached and black wood frame.
The last four pictures show the painting before framing.
Measurements:
With frame: 22.44 in high (57 cm) x 29.91 in wide (76 cm) x 2 in deep (5 cm).
