The woman is poised, sitting on a brown lounge chair, a cigarette is lit in her left hand, while she leans on her right. The woman has short blonde hair, which portrays a 1920's finger woven style. She is dressed in an elegant red dress draped over her body, a white tie around her waist, and thick jewels around her neck and wrist. A vase of white daisies is pictured on the ground next to the chair, contrasting the green and black background. Signed "Ellen Brown" lower left Presented in a burgundy and green mat.
