About the Item

Acquired by the gallery directly from the artist UNFRAMED: 24" x 30" FRAMED: 30.75" x 36.625" x 1.5" Artist Statement "The dramatic Scenery surrounding Ojai and the coastal range made for some tough choices as to what to paint. Add to that, the changing light throughout the day and the marine layer coming and going, made options even greater. I have always been attracted to waterways when scouting for paintings. This scene overlooking the Ventura River deeply spoke to me as a big fan of the geology and plant life of the Ojai Valley." — Ray Roberts
