About the Item

Still life with a yellow fan. Medium size. Acrylic on canvas using only four colors. "I try to paint in a limited palette that helps to reveal all the beauty of color and shape of objects." said Anait Vardanyan about this artwork. "In my works I try first of all to reflect the beauty of the objects around us.I tried to express the subtle beauty of traditional Chinese style through yellow color, which in Chinese painting tradition represents calmness and vitality. I wanted to show how the energy of color moves through objects and spreads in space like sunlight." The work will be sent wrapped in a tube. On the canvas, fields are left for framing the painting with matte.
