About the Item

This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. “Sunkissed Peaches” by Ann Goldberg is a radiant example of contemporary realism that masterfully captures the vibrant allure of nature’s bounty. This painting features a glass bowl brimming with an assortment of fruit: at the top, sunlit peaches in shades of warm yellow, and at the base, plums in rich, deep hues. The fruits vary in size and color, creating a dynamic composition that adds depth and visual intrigue. Goldberg’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in the way light bathes the peaches, highlighting their velvety textures and inviting, golden tones. The plums, nestled at the bottom of the bowl, offer a striking contrast with their darker, more complex colors, which are rendered with equal precision. The glass bowl, reflecting the myriad colors and textures of the fruit, becomes a vessel of luminous beauty, amplifying the interplay of light and shadow. The concept behind “Sunkissed Peaches” revolves around the theme of transition and harmony. The peaches, with their bright, sun-kissed surfaces, represent the freshness and vitality of the moment, while the plums below suggest the richness and depth of experience. This contrast not only enhances the visual interest of the piece but also symbolizes the balance between immediacy and depth, light and shadow. In this work, Goldberg explores the sensory richness of everyday moments, inviting viewers to appreciate the delicate interplay of colors and textures. The painting’s composition encourages contemplation of the cycle of nature, from the radiant newness of the peaches to the mature, complex allure of the plums. The gently blurred background accentuates the fruit’s vividness, creating a serene yet vibrant setting that enhances the painting’s overall harmony. “Sunkissed Peaches” is both visually stunning and conceptually rich, offering a fresh perspective on the beauty of everyday objects. It brings a sense of warmth and elegance to any space, encouraging viewers to reflect on the interplay of light, color, and form. Available for acquisition at Signet Contemporary Art in Chelsea and online, Ann Goldberg’s “Sunkissed Peaches” presents a unique opportunity to infuse your environment with a celebration of natural beauty and artistic finesse. Cherries - original realism still life painting - contemporary Art
Located in London, Chelsea
This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. A feast of form and color, Cherries by Heinz Schönhammer is a celebration of pure, gleaming abundance. The canvas overflows with clusters of ripe, red fruit, each cherry painted with a mirror-like sheen that catches and reflects light in dazzling variation. The repetition of round forms and taut skin creates a rhythm that pulses with life and ripeness. Schönhammer’s hyperrealist style turns the surface into a field of sensual delight—light glances across glossy surfaces while stems curve like elegant calligraphy. Deep burgundies, bright crimsons, and inky purples intermingle, lending the composition a velvety richness that’s as tactile as it is visual. Cherries is a vibrant ode to color, excess, and nature’s indulgence, elevated to visual poetry through masterful control of light and tone. This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. Artist Biography: Heinz Schönhammer was born in Vienna, Austria. After completing his fine art studies, he sought artistic inspiration across Europe, traveling to the Netherlands and Germany before eventually settling in Turin, Italy. There, he established significant connections with notable Italian artists such as Antonio Carena, Lucio Fontana, and Piero Ruggeri...
