Garry Winogrand was an American photographer from New York. He is known for his extensive documentation of American life.. Winogrand was the recipient of the various Guggenheim Fellowships and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. His work is included in the George Eastman Museum, Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Center for Creative Photography. He is considered to be one of the great masters of 20th century photography.
