This modern, geometric abstract, giclee print is by artist and graphic designer Burton Kramer.
Mesmerizing circles in black and white pop against a deep blue background, edged in neon yellow in this digital giclee print by modernist Burton Kramer. ‘Giclee’ is a French word that means ‘to spray’ and it refers to how an inkjet printer works to produce fine prints. Kramer explores the language of forms and sounds in his work much like the 20th-century European painter, Wassily Kandinsky who was renowned for his experiments with colour and music.
Edition 2 of 15 comes matted and framed with Artglass.

He is one of Canada's most influential and gifted graphic designers. He designed the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation logo in 1974. Kramer trained at Yale University (MFA), The Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology (BSc), The Royal College of Art, London (Fulbright Scholar) and The State University of New York. Kramer has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Arts Ontario, The Order of Ontario by the Province, an Honorary Doctorate from Ontario College of Art & Design and was named a Member of the Order of Canada. His work is held in many private and public collections.

Burton Kramer
Burton Kramer (b. 1932) explores the language of visual forms and sound. The artist trained at Yale University (M.F.A.), The Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology (BSc), The Royal College of Art, London (Fulbright Scholar) and The State University of New York. Kramer is one of Canada’s most influential graphic designers. He designed the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation logo in 1974. Kramer received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Art Directors & Designers Club, The Order of Ontario from the province, an honorary doctorate from Ontario College of Art & Design and was named a member of the Order of Canada.
