Original Air France "Far - East" original travel poster by artist Guy Georget; under the artistic direction of Jean Carlu. Conservation linen-backed and ready to frame. This difficult-to-find original Air France poster was printed in Frame by Bedos & Cie, Paris. Restored tear in bottom and touched up in outer white border. Presents very well. The center focal point is a pagoda-shaped building with three tall bamboo spears growing up the left side. A windsock fish is flying in the air about the building. Bright and vibrant orange and greens with contrasting dark red, grey, and black bring this vintage original poster...

Stylized Greek columns and the Parthenon in Athens, Greece sit on a mediterranean blue background. Very good condition, A- Ready to frame. Edges were trimmed at the time of linen backing. The creation of this poster was part of a larger series initiated by Pierre Sautet, the Deputy Commercial Director of Air France.
