With the stamp of the artist on the lower right on the rear.
Interesting artwork on paper representing a hen realized with a very refined stroke. Jean Boudal was born in Paris on April 5, 1914. He exhibited at the Salon des Independants in 1937, then at the Salon d'Automne in 1942. He illustrated several books, like the Adonis Poems by Jean de la Fontaine.
