In the artist's words: "I was born in Taiwan and grew up on a farm in the countryside, which gave me an understanding and appreciation of nature and the environment. My daily experiences inform how I conceive my work. I strive to communicate truly, from my heart I am always asking myself: How can I make art that improves things? Our future bodies will probably be significantly modified by technical appendages... the potential of technology as a fully integrated means of communication."

Artist's bio
Chin Chih Yang is a contemporary artist known for making unique artwork that combines his background in traditional Chinese ink painting with a modern sensibility.
Born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1956, Yang began his artistic journey by studying traditional ink painting under several renowned masters. Influenced by traditional Chinese painting with its delicate brushwork, rich ink tones, and depictions of natural landscapes, Chin introduced a modern aesthetic into the work, which explored the passage of time and impermanence. The artist also creates contemporary installation pieces for an immersive experience for his viewers. His work has received critical acclaim for its innovative approach and ability to bridge cultural boundaries.
Chin Chih Yang has participated in art fairs in Miami, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, among others, and his art is widely exhibited in galleries and museums around the world.
