This lithograph presents the profile of an Afro-Caribbean diety. His long beard is brightly multi-colored; some of these colors appear in blocks around him: purple, green, and yellow. This print is unframed but matted and the artist's signature is featured on the front.
Born in the Dominican Republic, German Perez has been called the Marc Chagall of the Caribbean. His work is characterized by vibrant colors, symbolist images and fantasy story-telling. Perez has exhibited worldwide, and is featured in international collections, especially in private collections of famous individuals. He lives and works in New York City.
