Sempione Park is an original black and white photograph printed in offset after a a photo of the Italian photographer Gianni Berengo Gardin (1930) of December 2nd, 1989.
Titled on the lower center" Milano- Parco Sempione", dated on the lower left.
In very good conditions.
The artwork represents two classical sculptures in a lake in the park of Sempione in Milan. the subjective choice of the place make an admirable unique photograph that resembling the loneliness of modernized society in the coldness of winter.
Gianni Berengo Gardin is an Italian photographer born in Santa Margherita Ligure in 1930. He grew up and studied in Venice, He began to devote himself to photography in the early 1950s. From that moment he never stops photographing, accumulating a monumental photographic archive capable of recounting the evolution of the landscape and of Italian society from the post-war period to today. From the beginning he focused his attention on a variety of themes ranging from social, to everyday life, to the world of work, to architecture and landscape. Berengo Gardin is therefore an eclectic photographer, appreciated internationally, and who has often been compared to Henri Cartier-Bresson for the lyricism of his photography.
