This original vintage German travel poster, titled Travel Freely (Bewegungsfrei reisen), was designed by Hermann Rastorfer for the Deutsche Bundesbahn and issued by the Bundesbahn Werbe- und Auskunftsamt (WER) in Frankfurt am Main. Printed in offset lithography, the composition reflects the optimism and modernity of postwar European travel promotion, with streamlined graphics and bold, inviting colors that embody the freedom and efficiency of rail travel in the 1960s.
