Published by Michèle Trinckvel, Paris; printed by Mourlot Frères, Paris, July 1965. Excerpted from the folio (translated from French), Bulls for Pedres - Curro Romero, El Cordobes. The present work constitutes the original edition, achieved printing in July 1965 by Dominique Viglino in Bourg-la-Reine; the lithographies were drawn on the presses of Fernand Mourlot in Paris; lithographs on case rendered by Henri Renaud. Justification of the draw: 16 examples on Japon nacré with an original color drawing of Jean Cocteau, a suite of the illustrations on grand Vélin d'Arches and a suite on grand Vélin de Rives, numbered from 1 to 16. 16 examples on Japon nacré with an original drawing in black and sepia by Jean Cocteau, a suite of illustrations on large Vélin d'Arches and a suite on large Vélin de Rives, numbered from 17 to 32. 48 examples on Vélin de Rives with a series of illustrations on grand Vélin d'Arches, numbered from 33 to 80. 120 examples on Vélin de Rives, including the final state of the illustrations, numbered from 81 to 200. In addition, some examples reserved for the collaborators of the edition were drawn. JEAN COCTEAU (1889–1963) was a French poet, playwright, novelist, designer, film director, visual artist and critic. He was one of the foremost artists of the surrealist, avant-garde, and Dadaist movements and an influential figure in early 20th century art. The National Observer suggested that, "of the artistic generation whose daring gave birth to Twentieth Century Art, Cocteau came closest to being a Renaissance man."

This album was produced by Fernand Léger with the collaboration of Tériade and Marguerite Lang. The edition of this album includes two CCLXXX examples numbered from I to CCLXXX and XX hors-commerce examples. Numbered from I to XX.
