Peloton is a limited edition screen print on paper by Robyn Forbes. The piece is of a group of athletic cyclists in a race with a blue and red colour palette. This work is in a limited edition with 20 pieces.
Robyn Forbes is an artist specialising predominantly in screen printing. Having studied art at Wimbledon and Chelsea School of Art she had a successful career in advertising before establishing and running a busy architectural practice with her husband and now combines this with her artistic practice. Robyn utilises a number of styles, tapping into the versatility of the screen-printing process in her work. Whether using photos and sketches to record the scenes around her and then capturing the mood and feel of a place through the printing process, or working on more graphical prints, her work is characterised by the bold use of colour. The mono printing method brings a painterly quality to much of her work and some unexpected results where unlike most screen prints, each piece is unique.
