Charles Banks Wilson (American, 1918-2013) was an American artist. Born in Springdale, AK in 1918, he moved to Oklahoma, where he spent his childhood. He was a painter, printmaker, teacher, lecturer, historian and illustrator. Prints by Charles Banks Wilson seldom appear on the market. This is a fine example of his work. Titled "Old Injun" c.1948. From an edition of 250. The signature is strong. The color is still strong after 70+ years - A great image! Dimensions 8 1/2" x 12". The frame measures 15" x 18 3/4". A great find.
