Extinction
Located in Roma, RM
Sabino de Nichilo (1972, Molfetta (BA), Italy, lives and works in Rome) manipulates raw clay into organic, fleshy, tubular forms in which cavities breathe. The artist is interested in the constant transformation of material, and even when burnt and finished, the works are changeable, resembling various inner organs, free of bodily or cultural constrictions. Abominal, vile body parts and imperfections transform into lustrious and colorful ceramic sculptures...

"In Between Two Worlds II", Black Light Bleu Metal Pendant Woven Airy Sculpture
Located in Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Titled "In between two worlds II", this airy sculpture is woven by artist Delphine directly from metal wire. It is composed of six bottom-opened volumes. Created with the inspiration by the artist's reading of Olivier Norek's novel 'In between two world", thes bottom-opened volumes depict floating villages, which invite to a journey over the seas and beyond the land, with their wandering that waits for the right moment to land and take root in a welcoming and rich soil. This piece is to be hung from the ceiling with provided hooks. Delphine Grandvaux is a French sculptor. Motivated by her desire to create light and airy artworks, she found her way to express creatively in a unique artistic approach, based on a similar technique of mesh from the metal wire as Ruth Asawa. Pareja 05 - contemporary modern abstract geometric steel sculpture
Located in Doetinchem, NL
Pareja 05 is a unique contemporary modern abstract sculpture by Spanish artist Eduardo Lacoma from his latest series Pareja, Spanish for couple. The sculpture consists of two handmade constructions from cut, welded and polished steel, that are mounted together to form a true complementary couple. The outer element is 5 mm carbon steel which has been varnished, the inner element is 5 mm corten steel which has been oxidized. Due to the manual process of building and finishing, each element has its own characteristic look, sometimes very smooth, sometimes a little rough but always very sophisticated. From all sides it offers intriguing views, now more closed, then more open. It fits perfectly in a contemporary modern interior setting, on a side table, on a shelf or even on a plinth. It evokes feelings of mid-century modern design whilst being a one-of-a-kind 21st century piece. Eduardo Lacoma (1968, Spain) is a practicing sculptor since many years, in addition to his career as an electronics technician. Being profoundly inspired by art during a trip to Barcelona in his teens, he taught himself the fine art of sculpting, combining materials such as iron, steel and stone. Living and working in Pamplona in the Basque region of Spain, he was originally inspired by the architecture of Gaudi. Gradually his interest shifted however to the sculptural forms of Eduardo Chillida and Jorge Oteiza...

Red, Purple, and Blue Modernist Abstract Biomorphic Mobile Sculpture
By Jon Krawczyk
Located in Houston, TX
Red, purple, and blue modernist biomorphic mobile sculpture by Jon Jon Krawczyk. Signed by the artist at the bottom of the piece. Artist Biography: A graduate of Connecticut College, Krawczyk has studied fine art throughout Europe and apprenticed with various acclaimed sculptors. He realizes his biomorphic sculptures by cutting sheet stainless steel or bronze and welding, pounding and shaping with focused heat. Each sculpture is therefore unique, as the works are never cast from a mold. Krawczyk draws inspiration from artists such as Picasso, Henry Moore and David Smith. He is not only influenced by the obvious masterful techniques of these artists, but also by their philosophies of the sculptural process. Jon Krawczyk works in stainless steel, either brushed or highly polished, and in bronze, to which he applies intense patinas of earth tones and bright blues and greens. These works appear to have the geological marks of boulders, as sentinels that look comfortable in natural environments, can be abstract tendrils or wispy smoke-like forms that defy gravity, or long, thin, yet powerful lines that seem to jump into the sky. His most recent highly polished stainless steel sculptures...

It is in excellent, like-new, condition. Shipping price includes the custom packing necessary for safe transport of fine art. Chapel, 1948-2021, Artist's Statement: “I was raised on the Western Slope of Colorado, with almost unfettered access to the American wilderness. I currently reside on a sailboat in Oakland, CA with my studio in nearby San Leandro. I work with permanent materials including bronze, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, glass and stone. It is my contention that a work of art must include a complete environment, not just a single object. In my opinion, it is very difficult to convey meaning with either pure abstraction, or pure representation. Describing an abstract concept with another abstraction does not define the subject. There is nothing in a completely non-objective artwork from the viewers experience upon which to base some meaning. One the other hand, a completely realistic presentation doesn't define an abstraction any better than a dictionary. This is why my sculpture is a blend - the symbolic joining of modern man with primitive experience. They are in-depth studies of the archetypes and symbols used to communicate their relevance to our everyday lives. Mythology, poetry and art are humanity's attempt to describe the mysteries of life which are beyond our ability to consciously comprehend. This is the appeal of the visual arts, poetry, literature and music; they excite an emotional response, or memory that transcends mere words.” - Ron Chapel...

By Francoise Schein
Located in Surfside, FL
This is a large sculpture and also includes an artist custom framed silkscreen with extensive handwork titled Line of Time, pencil signed and inscribed, presented in heavy metal and wooden frame (framed piece 24.5 x 30 in., sculpture piece is about 94 X 11 inches) Francoise Schein is a visual artist, trained as an architect - urban planner; She also teaches art at the ESAM Higher School of Arts and Media in Caen in Normandy . She is the founder of the INSCRIRE Association. In 2016, she was elected member of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Arts and Fine Arts of Belgium. Group Exhibitions Spain: 2016, The "5Contemporary" Paris gallery presented a group show at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Genalguacil, Spain. The show included important artists such as Françoise Schein, Mimouni and Pedro Castrortega. Born in Brussels , Françoise Schein left Belgium after studying architecture at the higher institute of architecture of the French community - La Cambre where she wrote her thesis on fundamental rights, then studied urban design at the Columbia University in the City of New York . She lived 11 years in New York where she begins a work on cartography territories. Subway map Floating on NY Sidewalk is his first monumental urban sculpture located at 110 Greene Street in SoHo (1985). At that time her works are abstract landscapes of cities, made up of networks, lines, trajectories, territories, founding texts and stories. They are constructed of very diverse materials and light. Returning back to Europe in 1989, she continues to work on what she calls her drawings-laboratories while beginning to integrate works in cities on civic themes, the main ones: at the Concorde metro station in Paris in 1991 and then in Brussels, Saint-Gilles , in 1992, these two projects took her to Lisbon in 1993 where she lived for five years and produced two monumental works (in azulejos) for the city of Lisbon at Parque metro station ( 1994) and another for the city of Stockholm at the Universitetet station (1998). She continues to travel to cities where she builds successively projects in Haifa , on the facade of the Beth Hagefen Jewish-Arab Cultural Center with Michel Butor (1994). Then she lives in Berlin where she builds the Westhafen station (2000) which takes her to Bremen to make her first human rights park, Rhododendronpark (2002). In 2005, she made the monumental Time Zone Clock in Coventry in 2005. Since 1999, she has also settled in Rio de Janeiro and initiated participatory artistic projects with the underprivileged population of the favelas . Since then, with the help of a locally trained team, many projects have been carried out, including one in Copacabana and more than 20 in different favelas (from 1999 to 2016). These works transformed the Rio workshop into sustainable development for the people who invested it. In Sao Paulo, since 2009, Françoise Schein has produced a monumental work with the participation of 1000 young people from the favela schools at Luz subway station. Her work is monumental recalling the works of Christo, Maria Dompe, Christian Boltanski, Anish Kapoor, Ai Wei Wei...
