About the Item

"Keys to My Heart" by Katharine Morling – Black and white porcelain sculpture of pop art surreal key chain with six handmade keys, charms and a locket. Delicate yet bold, "Keys to My Heart" by Katharine Morling transforms a traditional key chain into an extraordinary sculptural composition. Created entirely from porcelain, this piece features six keys and a chain with charms, all hand-sculpted with remarkable attention to detail. The monochrome finish with black ink-like line-work gives the impression of a two-dimensional sketch come to life. A testament to Morling’s distinctive artistic style, this piece explores memory, craftsmanship, and the beauty of everyday objects. It is part of her broader narrative work, which turns domestic and personal items into poetic expressions of identity and nostalgia. Artist Highlights: Work featured in the permanent collection of The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery Solo exhibitions in Sweden, The Netherlands, and the UK Commissioned by The Royal London Hospital for a large-scale installation A must-have for collectors of contemporary ceramics and conceptual sculpture, Keys to My Heart bridges fine art and craft in a way that is both playful and profound. It makes the perfect romantic gift as well!
