Marina Lazareva Prints and Multiples
Marina Lazareva was born in Moscow in 1961. She is a member of the Union of Russian Artists and the International Mezzotint Society. She works mostly in traditional mezzotint techniques, which she was taught in the studio of Vladimir Samarin, who is one of the best Russian experts of this complicated and labor-intensive technique. The main focus of Lazareva's creative output ranges from genre-miniature, still-life, lyric landscapes to majestic views of native architecture. She is a participant of many exhibitions, including international ones. Lazareva's mezzotints are in museums and private collections worldwide including the Museum of Books, Russian State Library and the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. Her works are also a part of private collections in Great Britain, Netherlands, Germany, USA and Russia.
