This is a single Egg Chair designed by Arne Jacobsen and produced by Fritz Hansen of Denmark in 2003. The price listed is for one chair, though two are available. Each chair is upholstered in a purple hopsack-like upholstery, likely Tonus by Kvadrat. The foam and fabric are in excellent shape. No rips or tears are noted. The chairs were produced in 2003 and lived in a gorgeous biotech headquarters designed by Behnisch Architekten in Cambridge, MA. The architectural firm specced this chair, which is notable. These are signed and marked Fritz Hansen pieces. The fabric shows some light wear from use and some light fading (one is noticeable, not really on the other) .
