Michael Kachan was born in the countryside of Armenia. There, he completed secondary school and was a noteworthy student specializing in art. A playful and festive atmosphere characterizes his works. His colors are vibrant and celebratory and his subjects are primarily centered on musicians, lovers, and dreamers. The work of Michael Kachan is held in numerous collections worldwide.
