Its elegant metal legs complement the Brazilian Rosewood armrests, known as jacaranda, while enabling the chair to recline into two distinct positions. Available right now, this very Brazilian Modern armchair pair in hardwood and gray suede designed by Joaquim Tenreiro in the sixties is gorgeous! The model is called “Concha” (Shell in Portuguese). The armchairs feature a hardwood structure upholstered in gray velvet and four toothpick legs. The back (the “shell”) is curved and ends in the arm rests. What makes these armchairs so special is the beautiful design iconic from Joaquim Tenreiro (Publications attached also). The original upholstery was also suede so we decided to do something similar. Available today, this spectacular set of two Mid-Century Modern armchairs with stools in cane and iron attributed to Carlo Hauner is nothing less than gorgeous. The armchairs feature a steel structure with four legs, tall backrest, curved seat and wide armrests with caning finish. Each armchair comes with a stool. The four pieces are sold as a set. The cane and steel are in the original condition and look awesome together. The set was designed in the fifties as outdoor furniture but a sculptural set as this could equally look great indoors.
