Title: Rare antique set of 10 pharmacy bottles apothecary glass with gold leaf Description: Beautiful set of ten pharmaceutical bottles, circa 1900 originally from a chemists in Northern Ireland. Note the exquisite gold leaf framed labels which make them real collectors items (and add value). These elegant bottles lined pharmacy shelves until the late 1920s. We’ve selected the bottles with the most attractive and desirable titles as well as pretty finish and in a variety of sizes and assorted top designs to compliment each other. The rounded stoppers are hand blown glass making them more valuable than the others due to it’s finer craftsmanship, the plain chisel top designs are elegant and feel extremely tackle to the touch fitting perfectly with ones thumb, with some finished with superb hand cut edges which are more labor intensive specimens, and almost reminiscent of a perfume bottle. The shorthand Latin (some ancient Greek) names for these botanical delights gives more detail to be admired. They are all empty but some have a wonderful slight residue of its past contents lining the inside of the bottle. Unusual and stunning treasure as a unique feature to accessorise your interior just as fragrance bottles and cosmetic jars would. Giant antique heavy art glass urn/factice/apothecary jar, with cap/topper and metal stand. Beautiful Art Deco decorative statement piece that can be used in a variety of ways; to display herbs and botanicals or scent an entire space. Simply fill the large glass structure with your favorite botanicals or fragrance, and keep the stopper inserted until you are ready to release some fresh fragrance. Can be filled with regular or colored water if desired. Can also be used as a vase to display a floral arrangement. Lightweight metal stand has a light beige/gold-toned color to the exterior and remains unfinished at the backside. Used by chemists, pharmacists and medical doctors, the industrial quality and quantity demijohn / carboy / apothecary presents splendidly, with thick glass and substantial sized proportions, the body having over a gallon capacity, a cylindrical neck that features a double finger loop handle, tapered with large cork stopper.
