Giant Antique Art Glass Factice Perfume Apothecary Display Bottle Jar Urn Stand
About the Item
Giant antique heavy art glass urn/factice/apothecary jar, with cap/topper and metal stand. Beautiful Art Deco decorative statement piece that can be used in a variety of ways; to display herbs and botanicals or scent an entire space. Simply fill the large glass structure with your favorite botanicals or fragrance, and keep the stopper inserted until you are ready to release some fresh fragrance. Can be filled with regular or colored water if desired. Can also be used as a vase to display a floral arrangement.
Lightweight metal stand has a light beige/gold-toned color to the exterior and remains unfinished at the backside. Carved art deco design inclusive of long lines that begin at three separate curved clawfoot style feet and lead upward to distinctive fan pattern details that hold glass urn in place. Metal stand allows for glass urn to have an almost levitating appearance when placed inside. Some pieces are marked/labeled at backside with, "0-1" & "0-2". Glass urn features a curved/rounded design with a wide belly and pointed base. Circumferential groove details at top portion of urn with a heightened neck/mouth for matching stopper.
Giant factice fragrance bottles were a popular method used by department stores to display and advertise new perfumes. Apothecary jars were used to store and preserve crude and compounded drugs, in both dry and liquid forms.

- Mid-Century Modern Sculptural Driftwood Glass Planter Insert Coffee Center TableLocated in Thiensville, WITruly unique and one-of-a-kind driftwood coffee center table with planter inserts. Nature surely delivers some beautiful artwork, such as this sculpted wood base. The shape mimics that of two separate tree trunks with their entangled root bases. The strong base is realized with a 3/8 inch oval shaped glass top, customized with planter inserts which are fixed into each of the tree trunk stems. The planter inserts have metal spikes at the bottom to allow for secured placement of faux plants. Spike plates can be removed. You have the option to add a small pot or vase within both planter openings, or plant into the customized metal pots directly. Glass can be removed by lifting upward, in which metal pots are lifted and removed as well. Metal pots are what keep the glass secure to the driftwood base. We showcased 2 separate plant ideas for reference only; plants are not included in the purchase. The movement and fusion of this driftwood adds a very natural and organic feel to any design. Coupled with the ability to customize your own style of plants with the inserts makes this table an adaptable show piece. A rectangle center table...Category
