A raised compote designed by Tiffany & Co. This is a beautiful antique Victorian compote created in the 1895 at Tiffany & Co. in New York city. It was carefully crafted in solid sterling silver .925/.999 under the directory period of Charles L. Tiffany (1891-1902). This lovely compote is the model 12285 and designed with repousse patterns of reticulated open works, floral and foliage patterns. It rests on a flat base. As with all Tiffany pieces, the quality and design are beyond compared. Exceptional and rare example of Tiffany's finest work. Country: New York City, United States. Period: Victorian, 1895.
