About the Item
Circa 1920s, Sterling, 22k, American. A one-of-a-kind objet, this sterling axe was made in the 1920s. Set with a 1925 gold piece, it suggests a tomahawk and is also very similar to Norse axes of the 10th century. We do not who made it or why, sometimes a mystery is good for the soul! Excellent condition.
