Jade Boyars Knife GIA Report

About the Item

Early 20th century, Natural Nephrite Jade. This fabulous desk accessory is a full sized Russian Boyars knife modeled in Jade. The color and figure of the translucent jade is lovely. It is well carved and accompanied by a GIA report stating that the Nephrite Jade is a natural color with no indication of impregnation. Excellent condition. Remark: “Objects of this type were popular among late 19th and early 20th-century gentleman as desk ornamentation." Size: 16 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide by 1/4 inch depth Weight: 165.40 grams Stones: Nephrite Jade natural color no indication of impregnation (possibly Siberian Jade) Hallmarks: None Documents: GIA report Stock number: 20968 Pieces acquired from this dealer must delight you.
