Porzellanfabrik, Thuringen, Germany, circa 1920s, by Aelteste Volkstedter. To set a breathtaking table, first give each guest their own unique porcelain sculpture …. This dramatic collection of table decorations from the Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik are a high watermark in epicurean luxury. Comprised of a set of thirteen figures plus a centerpiece, it features 11 unique figure designs (i.e. 9 singles and 2 pairs for a total of 13 figures). I am sure there was a reason for this unusual arrangement, but it is lost in time. The quality of Volkstedler is world-renowned, dating back to the original Royal workshops in 1721. The look is old-world luxe with a dash of Royals only! Very good condition with a very few losses. Remark: "Charm starcrossed with glamorous luxury!"
