An abstract naive, folk art, work depicting depicts colorful imaginative Surrealist figures. . Ramon Carulla, born in Havana, Cuba in 1936 moved to the United States in 1967. He has exhibited widely throughout the United States, Latin America and Europe. He has participated in personal and group exhibitions in Canada, Venezuela, Mexico and Spain and throughout the USA. American Artist 1922 – 2012 Served his country as a Sergeant in World War II, both stateside and in the Philippines. After the war, native Chicagoan Ronald Ahlström graduated from the School of the Art Institute, He became a prominent Abstract Expressionist collage assemblage maker working in a style similar to some of the New York school assemblage artists such as Robert Goodnough. Utilizing cutout letters in a concrete poetry style. He frequently exhibited his collages and paintings in the Chicago and Vicinity exhibits of the 1950s and 1960s. He worked as the curator of the Tacoma Art Museum in Tacoma WA during the early 1960s. He showed at Exhibition Momentum in the ’60s, and was selected for the Corcoran Biennial. Together with his colleagues and fellow-abstractionists Robert Nickle, Morris Barazani, Harry Bouras, George Kokines, and George Waite, he exhibited at McCormick Place in an independently produced survey of contemporary Chicagoans, circa 1962, under the banner 12 Chicago Artists. An adept and sensitive painter, Ahlström’s most personal work is as an abstract expressionist collage maker. Using strips of paper, sometimes weathered and beaten into rough hewn surfaces, he creates immaculately layered, lively, gestural compositions. He was the recipient of many art awards and prizes throughout his long career. His works are part of numerous private, corporate and museum collections. His work was published in many national and international art publications including Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Art. he taught art at both high school and college level. His other passions included history, literature and music. He was an accomplished base fiddle and guitar player and often played professionally in clubs during the late 1940s and 1950s. In 1958, he was awarded the William H. Bartels Prize of five hundred dollars at the Art Institute of Chicago. In this holographic collage the artist, and inventor Thomas Cvetkovich uses a method of recording an object image of a first hologram as a second hologram is provided. This holographic method is known as compact holographic human interface, and was invented by him. Reconstructed images of holograms, in this case a fish, a banyan leaf and flora and fauna abstract forms, generally become visible when illuminated by a source of light having an angle of reconstruction. Thse are created with laser and computer technology. An artile in Life magazine was all it took it took to influence Tom Cvetkovich's career path, one that has brought his Youngstown company, Chromagem, an international clientele. It focused on new technology that linked the use of lasers in producing holograms, three-dimensional and free-standing images. Reminiscing on Chromagem's past work, Cvetkovich said, One of the things we're most proud of is a series of U.S. postage stamps, achievement in space. We did three stamps for that. We've done postage stamps for Canada, the German government. We've also done work for Moet & Chandon, the champagne; Estee Lauder; and the cover of the 'Star Trek Generations' box set. Over the past two Christmases, Chromagem created a special variety of Reynolds Wrap that features snowflake holograms stamped on the entire roll. Cvetkovich created his first hologram when he was a student at Kent State University in 1974. He took science and art classes to gain the knowledge on how to make the creations running through his head and onto a sketchpad into a fully realized form. "I'm coming at it, primarily, from an art background, but with some science background." He continued his studies at Lake Forest College. It was the first place in the world to offer a workshop in holography. I was there for their third year. Combining art, science Next, he earned a master's degree from the Art Institute of Chicago. The Art Institute was just starting a holography lab. Actually, I had to build my own because theirs wasn't ready. When I was going to college, I would do a math class and then make art. Born in London, England in 1946, Archie Granot moved to Israel in 1967. Prior to settling in Jerusalem in 1978, he was a member of an agricultural community where he milked cows and grew melons. He has a M.Phil in Russian Studies from the University of Glasgow, Scotland and a B.A. in Political Science and Russian Studies from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Archie Granot is a paper cut artist based in Israel. Frank Aumueller had his first exhibition at Art Cologne 1989 at Koelnmesse GmbH in Cologne in 1989, and Prognose at Württembergischer Kunstverein in Stuttgart in 2021. A notable show was 2041 Endlosschleife at Württembergischer Kunstverein in Stuttgart in 2014. Other notable shows were at Villa Merkel - Galerie der Stadt Esslingen in Esslingen and Museum für Neue Kunst in Freiburg. Frank Aumüller has been exhibited with Hildegard Esslinger and Beate Baumgärtner. Aumuellers jigsaw puzzle pictures are results of a multistage production process. Expressive, partially with strong auto-lacquers created paintings form the basis. Aumueller then takes a photograph of these abstract color experiments and cuts the photo by machine into jigsaw puzzles. Afterwards he reassembles individual parts, whereby the original parts produce a new picture in a new composition, a sculpture work. At first sight the jigsaw puzzle pictures appear as a "pleasant idea": The result of time-consuming artistic creation is presented as a well-known game for children and adults. This appears to be an ironic move by Aumueller. However, irony is not the artist's concern. There is more to the jigsaw puzzles than just a nice conception: Aumueller labels his jigsaw puzzles "unstable equilibria" - a suitable description for many things in a world which in many ways appears to be stable and arranged. Frank Aumueller had his first exhibition at Art Cologne 1989 at Koelnmesse GmbH in Cologne in 1989, and Prognose at Württembergischer Kunstverein in Stuttgart in 2021. A notable show was 2041 Endlosschleife at Württembergischer Kunstverein in Stuttgart in 2014. Other notable shows were at Villa Merkel - Galerie der Stadt Esslingen in Esslingen and Museum für Neue Kunst in Freiburg. Frank Aumüller has been exhibited with Hildegard Esslinger and Beate Baumgärtner. Aumuellers jigsaw puzzle pictures are results of a multistage production process. Expressive, partially with strong auto-lacquers created paintings form the basis. Aumueller then takes a photograph of these abstract color experiments and cuts the photo by machine into jigsaw puzzles. Afterwards he reassembles individual parts, whereby the original parts produce a new picture in a new composition, a sculpture work. At first sight the jigsaw puzzle pictures appear as a "pleasant idea": The result of time-consuming artistic creation is presented as a well-known game for children and adults. This appears to be an ironic move by Aumueller. However, irony is not the artist's concern. There is more to the jigsaw puzzles than just a nice conception: Aumueller labels his jigsaw puzzles "unstable equilibria" - a suitable description for many things in a world which in many ways appears to be stable and arranged. The jigsaw puzzle is more than just a means of formal expression. He was born in Eisenstadt, Hungary, in the year 5521 (1761), nearly two hundred years ago. The city of his birth was a seat of learning for centuries, and his family was a family of scholars and Rabbis.Rabbi Akiba Eger, who was Rabbi in the famous community of Pressburg (also Hungary, but since 1913 it belonged to Czechoslovakia and was called Bratislava). It came from an important estate in the Palm Beach area. Made in Murano, handmade according to the ancient Murano glass tradition. Master Sergio Costantini was born in Venice in 1956 and learned the technique of glass processing from the famous Master Glassmakers of Murano A. Barbini, Licio Zanetti, L. Mellara. His works are exhibited globally in the most important museums and art galleries. Venetian glass (Italian: vetro veneziano) is thought to have been made for over 1,500 years, and production has been concentrated on the Venetian island of Murano since the 13th century. Murano glassmakers created cristallo—which was almost transparent and considered the finest glass in the world. Murano glassmakers also developed a white-colored glass (milk glass called lattimo) that looked like porcelain. They later became Europe's finest makers of mirrors. Murano glassmaking began a revival in the 1920s. Today, Murano and Venice are tourist attractions, and Murano is home to numerous glass factories and a few individual artists' studios. Its Museo del Vetro (Glass Museum) in the Palazzo Giustinian contains displays on the history of glassmaking as well as glass sculpture samples ranging from Egyptian times through the present day. The Venetian glassmakers of Murano are known for many innovations and refinements to glassmaking. Among them are Murano beads, cristallo, lattimo, chandeliers, and mirrors. Additional refinements or creations are goldstone, multicolored glass (millefiori), and imitation gemstones made of glass. Aventurine glass, also known as goldstone glass, is translucent brownish with metallic (copper) specks. Calcedonio is a marbled glass that looked like the semi precious stone chalcedony. This type of glass was created during the 1400s by Angelo Barovier, who is considered Murano's greatest glassmaker. Ercole Barovier, a descendant of Murano's greatest glassmaker Angelo Barovier, won numerous awards during the 1940s and 1950s for his innovations using the murrine technique. Sommerso is a form of artistic Murano glass that has layers of contrasting colors (typically two), which are formed by dipping colored glass into another molten glass and then blowing the combination into a desired shape. The outermost layer, or casing, is often clear. Sommerso was developed in Murano during the late 1930s. Flavio Poli was known for using this technique, and it was made popular by Seguso Vetri d'Arte and the Mandruzzato family in the 1950s.
