About Maria Mitsumori

Maria Mitsumori is a contemporary artist who works in the technique of Japanese painting, the traditional art form of Japan. Through her work, she creates an enigmatic and thought-provoking narrative, in which a variety of things exists as they are, transcending borders. Born in 1988 in Tokyo, Mitsumori studied at international boarding schools in Switzerland and spent 15 years abroad. She currently resides in Tokyo where she creates all the artworks and showcases them internationally. This year, her artworks were showcased in Dubai, United Kingdom, and Singapore.
