(a)Gallery was set up in 2017 as an outlet for Pia Clodi’s photographic work, which embraces more than 0s and 1s in form, process and sentiment. The gallery favours works that come from a practice which is not static, efficient or ergonomic, but rather in tune with an ‘Analog’ way of life and an analog photographic practice. When one thinks of that word, Analog, they think of vinyl records, clocks with hands and faces or early methods of photographic development. But Analog also evokes thought of ‘slow photography’: slower technology… slower movements… or longer pauses ...Read More
