Mid-Century Modern 2-piece china hutch, cabinet, or buffet by Heywood Wakefield for the Contessa Collection. Comprised of 2-pieces a top hutch & a bottom buffet in a dark cherrywood, woven wicker basket weave or caned door fronts, brass toned pulls, & slim steel legs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are nicks on the left side of the buffet edge toward the front. Stiffener has been added underneath buffet as the cabinet had sagged in the middle making doors uneven. Stiffener corrected that issue. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, 1960’s. In 1959, the Heywood Wakefield “Contessa” slogan was "Wood for warmth and grace ... steel for strength and rigidity." "Furniture of Slender Elegance." And does this China cabinet ever fit that description. The Contessa line features a darker cherrywood, gold or brass toned accents, and slim steel legs. This cabinet has 2 pieces. A bottom buffet that features brass toned pulls that open two sets of double doors. There are three drawers on the right side with a silverware tray in the top drawer. The left side is open storage. The top hutch features two rolling side doors with woven wicker basket weave, or caned, door fronts and three shelves in the center. The whole cabinet stands on slim steel legs and exudes mid-century modern magnificence! This awesome, versatile china cabinet or buffet will look amazing whether you place it in the dining room, living room, study, or the kitchen. It is adaptable enough to blend right in whether your design style leans to Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern, industrial, southwestern, or modern country. Wonderful campaign style modular wall unit bedroom or bed set up with side armoires comprised of dark wood, removeable mirrors, lights, full/queen headboard, and brass hardware by Thomasville Furniture. Take another look at this Extremely cool, Extremely modular “Mystique” wall unit or bedroom set up by Tomlinson Furniture. So many options…We say that because the center, larger unit can be used as a headboard for a full or queen-sized bed. You just need a Hollywood frame, and it backs right up against the headboard which has drop front storage for extra pillows or blankets! The four mirrors are removeable so if you prefer you could take them off and expose a blank wall or hang your favorite piece of artwork. Plus, there are lights at the top of the crown unit and a shelf to hold a lamp, books, or décor! Now, it’s nice to have the two side cabinets in your bedroom if you need the space for storage…there is hanging space in the top wardrobe area and three nice sized drawer’s underneath…AND there are knobs immediately beneath the wardrobe section that pull out into a nightstand surface with a black laminate top!! SO NICE!! BUT…maybe it’s a little much for the space you have, and you want to break it up a bit. NO PROBLEM! The two side pier cabinets are modular and can stand individually in separate rooms or could set side by side in one room. Maybe you want to use the two pier cabinets in a second bedroom and put a beautiful brass bed between them and use the center unit in a different bedroom. The whole unit is comprised of a gorgeous sultry dark wood and the cabinets have beautiful brass escutcheons, teardrop pulls, and hardware. There are truly so many interchangeable possibilities with this wonderful campaign style wall unit and it is made with impeccable quality by an iconic manufacturer. You just can’t go wrong! Gorgeous Mid-Century Modern étagère comprised of a bow shape chrome frame and 5 bowed smoked glass shelves. Done in the style of James David or Design Institute of America aka DIA. Wonderful Art Deco style entry desk or bar by IMA S.A. Bogota, Colombia comprised of mahogany, mahogany veneer, laminate, brass hinges, and brass ring pulls. Gorgeous condition with wear as you would expect with a vintage piece but no outstanding flaws that we have detected. A small repair was made in the veneer and is unnoticeable. Please see photos. It is comprised of two separate pieces. Both are solid mahogany. The base has a gorgeous Greek Key design on one side and it’s plain on the other so you can change the look to be decorative or more transparent. The countertop is a flip open design with brass ring pulls and brass hinges that open to a large storage area for supplies of your choice. There are two large drawers on each lower side and two smaller drawers above the countertop lined with laminate inside and mahogany veneer. Fabulous pair of small credenzas or buffet cabinets by A. Brandt Company comprised of solid ranch oak with a natural oak finish. Wonderful vintage condition. One top has a joint crack that had occurred from age, but it has been repaired, it just added beauty to the patina. Please see photos, circa mid-20th century. Yes! You are seeing double!! Aren’t these vintage ranch oak cabinets beautiful?? They are comprised of rustic solid ranch oak with a natural oak finish that is signature to A. Brandt Company furniture. The natural oak finish was made by sealing the wood, double coating it with lacquer, and applying liquid wax and Spanish whiting. Both cabinets have double doors that open to storage with a single shelf in each unit and a pair of drawers. One of the shelves in one unit is outfitted with pull-out wire hooks for hanging cups or barware. Plus, the doors and drawers feature the A. Brandt signature wood pulls. Handsome antique Victorian dresser of solid walnut and burl walnut with white marble top and black painted turned wood and brass teardrop pulls. It is in wonderful antique condition with an amazing antique patina. The candle shelves were broken and there was a small piece of molding missing on the lower left side of the mirror frame, but the shelves have been repaired beautifully and the molding carved and replaced by our experienced staff. There are other smalls signs of its long life and use including some staining on the antique white marble. We love its warm antique age patina. The mirror glass is clear but old. Handsome pair of chests from American of Martinsville and Merton Gershun’s Accord line of furniture with the signature X’s and asymmetric handles. One is the long walnut dresser with three drawers and cane doors and the second is the three-drawer bachelor’s chest. Two separate pieces but butted together make one long marvelous piece. We are pricing them as a set. Both are in wonderful restored condition. However, they are not without signs of age and use having an overall beautiful age patina which includes small nicks, scratches, and imperfections but nothing major. Note the metal signature crosses in their tops and their fabulous asymmetric or staggered handles. These gorgeous chests are from the Accord collection produced in the mid-20th century by American of Martinsville and designed by Merton Gershun. One piece is the longer dresser which is comprised of a bank of three drawers next to three doors with cane inserts. One door opens to the left and the other two doors bi-fold open to the right revealing three interior drawers. This dresser alone is wonderful but paired with the matching bachelor’s chest, which has the same bank of three drawers as the dresser, and butted next to the doors, making it one extra long cabinet...

Handsome Asian teak hand carved drop slant front desk with interior compartmentalized cubby storage in the style of George Zee and Co. of China. This amazing piece is in fabulous condition. Please see photos, circa mid-20th century. This phenomenal drop front desk is made with superior craftsmanship and materials and is in exceptional original condition. Comprised of teak that has been carved on the drop front and the drawer faces with an incredible plum blossom and bird motif. The drop front is slanted above three rows of drawers.
