About the Item
Lovely Mid-Century Modern chrome etagere with 6 glass shelves with Piet Mondrian shelf placement. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. No chips or chiggers that we have detected. One shelf was replaced. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, 1960-1970’s.
WOW…if Piet Mondrian had designed an etagere, it may have looked a lot like this one! Take another look at this gorgeous Mid-Century Modern etagere comprised of six glass shelves in total with three splits in the body creating three square openings and three vertical and horizontal rectangular areas. An awesome abstract effect that allows the ability to use a tall or larger piece of pottery or décor in those taller spaces. This would look fabulous mixed with your Mid-Century Modern décor or be just as lovely placed in a traditional or contemporary setting. It can beautifully hold your precious framed portraits or your collection of books. And, it would be equally as fabulous in an entry or hallway, dining room, or sitting room. That “square” is attached to a large chrome rectangle which goes against the wall, and five curved smoked glass shelves slide through the center square and attach to the rectangle and pull this beauty together.
