Projects include award-winning houses in the Hamptons, Connecticut and California; New York City townhouses, apartments and a ground-up mixed-use building; retail design; art galleries and artist's studios; and, community-based architecture and urban design.

Michael Haverland served on the faculty of the Yale School of Architecture for ten years.
