About the Item
1940s navy blue wool princess coat, from Peterson Gerzog, Providence Rhode Island. A beautiful classic wool coat with amazing details such as, hand bound button holes, hand covered embroidered buttons at the front and on the turned back cuffs, the lining is hand sewn. The coat buttons up to the neck and has a wing collar. The shoulders are padded and add great definition to the coat shoulders. The coat is seamed through the waist from the bust to the hip top front & back. The coat skirt is lightly padded at the hip sides, it is tapered and falls semi full to the hem. Fully lined in navy crepe & interlined for warmth. Well cared for and in very good condition. It fits like a small.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
