Beautiful Turkish scarf in cream silk organza densely embroidered tone on tone with floche silk thread dating from the early 20th century. Drawing of a stream of garlands of flowers with calligraphic inscriptions, Tugra and crescents at each end. Beautiful cream knotted silk fringes. The silk has kept its original finish. Wearable today. Excellent colour and condition.
Dimensions: 247 cm long by 52 cm wide, plus 18 cm fringes.
