This vintage Thierry Mugler bouclé wool jacket and skirt set is giving a very Cher from Clueless vibe. Thierry Mugler and his work have been the subject of countless museum retrospective for a reason: he is responsible for defining the fashion landscape of the late 1980s and early 1990s, with his unabashedly feminine, sensual, borderline-campy perspective. Circa 1980s, this suit is crafted from a wonderful wool bouclé in a vibrant shade of tangerine orange. The fabric has a beautiful slub to it. The jacket is complete with Mugler's signature exaggerated lapels, with a deep V giving way to a nipped waist, creating a flattering hourglass shape, along with the dropped shoulders.
