About the Item

17th century southeast Asian Rare Medieval tobacco pipe. Unearthed in the Central Highlands of Viet Nam near the Cambodian Border Tay Nguyen Plateau, Montagnard, Jarai Tribe Est, 17th century possibly earlier. Bronze pipe bowl with short curved stem in which the elongated stem was inserted. This style was common among the hill people of Viet Nam and shows Chinese influence in design. Rare and unique museum quality. Dimensions: 11.75"w x 1.5"d x 6.5"h
