About the Item
Despite common belief that water pipes such as these were used to smoke opium, water pipes such as these were more commonly used for smoking Tobacco. The hinged compartment is where the tobacco would be placed for smoking. This pipe features Chinese character engravings on the lid. This pipe works in much the same way as a Shisha Pipe.
