About the Item
This glass cupboard is made of cork and has a soft shadow.
The decorative surface of the frame, which has been carefully carved, is eye-catching.
The design, which is applied at equal intervals like grooves, subtly highlights the contours and gives the entire piece of furniture a quiet elegance.
The decoration runs from the edge of the sliding door to the front edge of the shelf, demonstrating the fine craftsmanship and pride of the craftsman.
The door is a sliding door. The interior has three shelves of different heights, allowing for flexible storage of dishes, books, and small items.
There are two deep drawers at the bottom. The handles are decorated with Western-style floral patterns, adding a delicate impression.
The cabinet is made of solid wood, even down to the back panel, and the beauty of the aged wood grain is visible all over.
As you would expect from a masterpiece from the Taisho period, it has an excellent balance of practicality and design, and will naturally fit into modern spaces.
