Japanese Antique chestnut cabinet , Sideboard, Wabi Sabi, Japandi

About the Item

This antique sideboard is made of chestnut wood and has a calm and elegant appearance. Its solid grain and calm brown color are attractive, and you can fully enjoy the beauty of chestnut wood, which deepens over time. It has a well-balanced configuration of four rare glass doors and four drawers. The structure makes use of the wide width, and it balances both a sense of stability and storage capacity. The doors are sliding doors that open and close smoothly, and even when left open, they do not take up much space and are easy to use. The grain of the drawers is beautifully aligned, and the brass fittings on the handles give a modest yet firm impression. A single piece of lauan wood is attached to the top plate. By combining the uniform and calm impression of lauan wood with the chestnut wood frame, the overall appearance is neat and tidy. It has a solid height and makes a strong presence as display furniture like a counter. It is a piece that can be used not only for storing dishes and books, but also as shop fixtures. Our craftsmen carefully repaired it and restored it as furniture to be handed down to the next generation. *This is an antique in good condition, but there are small scratches and slight distortions that are not shown in the detailed images. weight: - About Us - Based in Japan, we reinterpret high-quality Japanese furniture from the Taisho period, a fusion of Western culture and Japanese craftsmanship, and upcycle it into "modern Japanese furniture." Each piece is carefully repaired by a skilled craftsman, and reborn as furniture to be passed down to the next generation. We deliver beautiful and functional Japanese furniture that will be loved for generations to come.
