A Metal Burmese Bell on a Base with Garula and Narasimha

About the Item

This Burmese brass bell was given to a temple as an act of merit-making. It was suspended from a heavy cord and put on a custom metal stand for display. The piece dates to c.1920. and features with Garuda, a mythical bird, and Narasimha, a lion-headed deity. The diameter of the bell is 19" and the height is 40".
