Lovely Chinese porcelain Famille rose charger with nice green enamels.
We think it could be a pre Bencharong / Pre Nyonya plate/charger. We call this style Pre Bencharong because it has many features of later bencharong / south East Asian wares, but it is older. Often these plates are dated to Qianlong period 18th century. They are also in several books. The interesting thing is you can already see the thick enamel used on Bencharong wares and the vibrant colors that are so typical for straits porcelain. This porcelain for the SE Asian market Thailand, Malaysia & Indonesia. The exact relation to the war of the 19th century has to be determined, but it seems acceptable to say these are predecessors from circa 1800. So 1780-1820.Condition:
