19th century hand incised and painted ginger jar Outstanding hand made ginger jar with a variety of different motifs that include geometric patterns, peaches, Chrysanthemum's, moths, lotus, etc. The jar has a later rosewood lid and sits atop a rosewood base 5.5" diameter at the base 10" diameter at the body x 3.5" diameter at the mouth The jar is 8" high Good antique condition The edge of the mouth shows some tape residue A beautiful find!
