Antique Chinese Green Blue glazed Shiwan pottery teapot dates to China’s Kuang Hsu Dynasty and is of the late 19th century. The vibrant teal-green glaze pot features a pouring spout, a carrying or suspension handle and original lid. Teapots such as these were used to heat water for tea and were created with the handle on top to suspend the pottery over an open fire. In good overall condition. There's small chipping on the spout and on the suspension handle. (See photos) This gorgeous glazed antique pottery makes a beautiful accent piece. Measurements: H 8.75” x D 9” x W 8.5”
