This is a very nice antique Chinese porcelain dish, dating back to the early 17th century and made for the Japanese market, Kosometsuke. The dish features a beautiful underglaze blue decoration with a central motif of a Literatus in a landscape contempleting nature These kind of dishes are well documented in the literature. —————————————————————————————————————— Condition Rimfritting, filled chip (with some small lines close to it) and hairline.
