About the Item
China – Blanc de Chine porcelain incense holder, surmounted by a Chinese lion, Qing dynasty, 18th century (Kangxi period) White porcelain statuette known as “blanc de Chine”, representing a Buddhist lion sitting on a quadrangular base, its mouth open and its paw resting on a ball, a symbol of protection and power.
