Canton Famille Rose Plate, Qing Dynasty, Tongzhi Era, ca. 1865. The Central Roundel with a Polychrome Enameled Full Displaying Peacock, with an inner border to the cavetto of an all-over fruit and floral pattern with two butterflies on a gilded ground, the outer lip with a precious objects border, the reverse with iron-red Tongzhi mark (1862-1874).
