Japanese hand made and hand glazed mid 19th century Edo Period blue glazed -gosu blue- Satsuma tripod Koro censer with an original wood pierced cover. Rare Decor: Hand painted decoration of a panoramic exhibition of twelve (12) different Japanese antique lanterns and lamps! Quality: Superb glazing. The top border and tripod legs are finely decorated with symbolic designs and bottom features the artist's signature and shimazu cross. Impeccable. Lovely rarity for the most discriminating collection. Dimensions: 6 1/8 inches tall x 4 inches diameter. Hand made hand glazed in a rare motif , beautiful condition Provenance: Old Japan.
