A fine antique Japanese Satsuma vase.
Meiji period. Signed.
A very nice 19th century Japanese Satsuma ware vase of a relatively slender form with rolled rims. The decoration makes extensive use of gilt lining and pointillism to highlight the painting.
Overall the vase depict a scene of a colorful bird on a maple tree.
In great condition commensurate with age.
Size: Height-19 cm, diameter to the bottom 5.5 cm.
